Something is missing. I can’t really put my finger on it, but I can tell that things are not quite right. I’m not usually a “doom and gloom” person and I know that God wins, but as I look around I sometimes feel like “we”, us Christians, are losing. Our “positive impact” seems to be growing weaker by the moment. Could it be that our “manner of life is [not] worthy of the Gospel of Jesus Christ” as Paul exhorts the Philippians in 1:27? Could it be that we are more worried about our church, our sect, our denomination, our views, our interpretation than we are about “standing firm in one Spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the Gospel?” If we could all put our personal goals, preferences, and desires to the side and just allow God to use us in His plan with our only desire to be that “none would perish” then think of the difference that would make in our world. Let’s strive today to live in a way that honors the Gospel and is inviting to others to come to Him. Blessings
