Day of Waiting

I am one of those that scream at the microwave to hurry and heat my meal. I can’t believe that it takes a minute or so to heat my dinner. Waiting is not my strong suit. I guess that is why verses like Isaiah 40:31 make me stop and ponder. The Prophet says, “those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” I doubt that I will ever be known as one that waits well, but today I am trying to focus more on Him and His time than me and mine. Today I am going to try and allow God to renew my strength. Why don’t you join me and let’s declare this as a “day of waiting”? Blessings
