Pray First

Why is it that the last thing that we think about doing is to pray? I love prayer, I teach prayer but even I don’t always go to the Lord first. King Hezekiah was facing a huge Assyrian army, possible annihilation. He simply took the threat to the Lord. Isaiah 37:14-15 says that he took the threat, spread it before Him, and prayed to God. And God answered. I feel challenged today to make a concerted effort to take things to God first – to pray. Maybe you could try it too! Blessings
