I don’t know about you, but sometimes when I pray I don’t hear or see God answering in any way. He doesn’t even say “I heard you, but the answer is ‘No’.” I remember that the Bible says we have not because we ask not, so I pray some more; but still nothing from God. Sometimes it takes a while and a lot of fussing, fuming, and wondering where He is before I remember what God said to Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if My people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven…..” I need to humble myself, seek His will, and turn from my selfish, wicked ways and then He will hear. My friends, God does not, in fact can not lie. If you are going through a time when you just don’t think He is “out there”, He just doesn’t seem to hear your prayer then maybe you are like me and have failed to humble, seek, and turn yourself to Him and His glory.
