Restoring Our Sanity

Friends, I do not consider myself to be a “doom and gloom” person or preacher. I do not believe that I am “called” to scare the “hell out of people”. I am called to love the hell out of people. As I have returned from two weeks in the mission field where there is no world news, I now feel inundated with “bad news” as I read and watch the things that are happening in our world. I want to just grab some folks and literally “shake” the devil out of them! Can you imagine how God must feel, what He must be thinking? Psalm 81:13 probably begins to sum up what must be His thoughts,”Oh, that My people would listen to Me, that [they] would walk in My ways!” The really sad part is that God desires to “fill” us (v.10) with His blessedness. Will you join me today in trying to restore some sense of sanity in our lives and in our world by returning to Him – by seeking Him and His ways? I want to walk in the joy of Him instead of the sadness of the world. Will you walk beside me? Blessings
