Meeting Jesus

Someone asked me how they could tell if they had had an encounter with Jesus Christ. I told them that it is impossible to be in the presence of our Lord and not to be changed in some way, as evidenced by John the Baptist response when he “leaped in [his mother’s] womb” when Mary, pregnant with Jesus, walked into the room. (Luke 1:41) Now, what we do with our encounter is up to us. We can grow closer to Him, we can reject Him, or as many do, we can simply try to ignore Him. The only response that leads to true peace of mind and spirit is to accept Him and allow Him to work in us. As friends, let’s help and encourage each other to grow closer today. Blessings
