Miraculous Reassurance

Have you ever felt “led” to do something? Perhaps to reach out to a stranger, or even worse to reach out to an enemy? I know I have. Usually in those times I respond by telling God that if this is really Him then He needs to show me a sign. He needs to show me a “burning bush” like He did for Moses. When I feel challenged or pushed out of my comfort zone I want reassurance that everything is going to work out to my liking – to my will. I know that I’m not alone in this line of thinking and I know that this line is not new. The people around Jesus were always asking and expecting some type of miraculous sign. Even those crucified with Him said that if He would “come down from the cross” then they would “see and believe.”(Mark 15:32) A relationship with God is about believing even without seeing. Today I am going to strive to just say “yes” instead of asking for reassurance. Will you join me? Blessings
