More Stuff

I know that you won’t believe this, but sometimes I get confused. I forget what my goal in life is and I catch myself going after the wrong “prize”. There are times that I strive for accolades and honors. Times when all I want is more stuff. The problem is that when I get more stuff, I am never satisfied. I still feel empty, especially when I realize that I won’t be able to carry any of that stuff with me when I die. It is good to remember Psalm 17:15 in times such as this. “As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with Your likeness.” In other words, stuff will never satisfy me. Only God can satisfy completely. I suspect the same might be true for you. Join me in renewing our efforts to seek His face instead of our stuff. Blessings
