Ruts

I get tired of the same old routines. Tired of the ruts of life. I want this year to be different, so I guess I need to try a new outlook. I’ve read the Bible enough to know that there aren’t many “ruts” in a life fully committed to God. So I’m going to go with Psalm 2:11 “Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling.” I’m going to strive to worship and rejoice. To worship God is to trust God and to rejoice in Him is to glorify Him even when I don’t understand His ways. I like to think that I have “lived” that way for years now, but this is the year that I want to make it my focus. I want to take full refuge in Him as verse 12 says.
