Trees of Life
The Bible is full of revelations of God’s love for His creation. So full, in fact, that we Christians sometimes get lost in the forest of these revelations and instead of living the truth of His love we end up neglecting or distorting His love. I have found these three Biblical truths to be a solid foundation; these have kept me from getting lost in the forest.
- John 3:16 • God’s love is greater than we can imagine and it is not limited to just me, it is for everyone. As a Disciple of Jesus I am to love in the same manner.
- Genesis 12:3 • God blesses His people; not however, so we can accumulate more stuff, but so we can share more blessings with the world.
- II Peter 3:9 • It is God’s desire that all would come unto Him. He desires that none would perish. People perish because we are hesitant in displaying the love of Christ.
